Hey there! I am a painter, printmaker, and writer living in Philadelphia, Penn. Having a deep passion for the literary community, I have devoted my time to illustrating popular books while writing and illustrating fiction, poetry, and non-fiction of my own. Having had a whole career in education in California's Bay Area, when I moved to Philly in 2024 with my wife it was time to create a whole new world both internally and externally. This city fascinates me. Working in a whimsical romantic figure style you'll see influence from Quentin Blake, Rockwell Kent, Arthur Rackham and The Red Rose Girls. It's a happy accident I've landed so near the original Brandywine School of Howard Pyle (1853–1911) and my devotion to multiples and publishing fits perfectly in this tradition.

I have been featured in multiple newspapers and periodicals including Make Magazine, Benicia Herald, and the Redwood City Pulse and appeared on network TV stations ABC10 Sacramento and on Univision Sacramento KUVS-19 (spanish). My art student's work has been hung in the US Congress three times and I have former students working for Lucasfilm and other industry leaders. 

I'm a member of the Academy of American Poets and Second State Press. My work has sold all over the United States and United Kingdom in the last few years. I'm so excited to begin exhibiting art in the Philadelphia region and competing in writer's contests in 2026-2027.
